JANUARY
BIG SHRIMP TOURNEY The Internet Shrimpers and
Anglers Association has a tourney for the longest
single shrimp with a side pot for the most shrimp
at 6 p.m. Jan. 29 at the Riverbreeze Park in

CRAPPIE USA WILDCARD & KIDS RODEO Crappie
USA Inc. is holding "Wildcards" and "Kids
Rodeos" Jan. 22 in Kissimmee at Chisholm
Park Trail and Jan. 29 in Leesburg at the Venetian
Cove Marina. Weigh-ins are at 4 p.m. Seminars
open to the public are being held after the
tournaments. This year's fish limit has been
reduced from 10 to seven. The "Kid's Rodeos" are

GRIDIRON GREATS "The Gridiron Greats Fishing
Tournament" pits National Football League
alumni against current players in backcountry
fishing. The finals pits AFC Vs. NFC. This event
is Jan. 31 through Feb. 1 at the Holiday Isle

part of the H.O.T. Fishing Circuit and a qualifying

KIDS-COPS COMMUNITY TOURNEY The Eighth Annual "Kids-Cops
Fishing Tournament," hosted by the South
Daytona Police Department at the Sunglow Pier

17TH ANNUAL LADY ANGLER'S This Halifax Sport
Fishing Club tourney is May 20-22 at the Marine
Discovery Center. Men can be skippers and crew,
but only women can fish for the eligible species

Smyrna Beach Blue Marlin Open" is June
2-5. It is release format, except marlin over
99 inches are scored per pound. Wahoo, dolphin
